Kyoto Microcomputer Co., Ltd. (KMC) unveiled Eclipse for PARTNER Cross DevKit, a missing link for Eclipse to use KMC's flag-ship JTAG ICE product PARTNER-Jet series.

Kyoto Microcomputer Co., Ltd. (KMC) has just unveiled Eclipse for PARTNER Cross DevKit, a missing link for Eclipse to use KMC's flag-ship JTAG ICE product PARTNER-Jet series. It enables users to use Eclipse for integrated development and debugging embedded target boards via JTAG interface.
The Eclipse is an open source versatile IDE (Integrated Development Environment) developed by Eclipse Foundation
http://www.eclipse.org/ and related open source community worldwide. It has several features for large-scale development tasks and fits both small and large development teams. It supports version control system (VCS) repository access, automatic expansion of method name, visual diff, debugger with graphical user interface and plug-ins. The latest version of the Eclipse is 3.0.1
The Eclipse for PARTNER Cross DevKit will be available free for download from KMC's web site in the second quarter of 2005.
KMC also announced that the PARTNER version 4 will be available in the third quarter of 2005. It significantly enhances user interfaces and supports large-scale software development. It will offers several enhancements including user-customizable user interface.
